Opening of allowances (First round) for maternity workers
On 27 May 2022, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training issued a notification on the opening of allowances (First round) for maternity workers.
The Ministry provides benefits (first round) to a total of 6,000 maternity workers at 196 factories in the textile, garment, footwear and travel products and bags sectors that had suspended their employment contracts from March 2020 to June 2021.
